Radhika Patel & Dhyeya Barot’s Udaipur prewedding was a celebration of refined elegance. Set against the regal backdrop of The Oberoi Udaivilas and the serene ghats of Lake Pichola, their story unfolded in frames that echoed royalty and grace. From the grandeur of the palace corridors to the calm ripples of the lake, this shoot embodied everything we love about destination weddings in India: art, soul, and unforgettable moments.
Born and raised in the United States, Radhika and Dhyeya dreamt of infusing their wedding celebrations — eventually to be held in the USA — with a sense of their cultural roots. A royal pre-wedding in India felt like the perfect way to bridge their worlds. Udaipur, with its heritage, artistry, and soul, became the natural choice for bringing that vision to life. What made this shoot even more special was the journey behind it. For nearly a year, they worked closely with us — meticulously planning travel, stay, outfits, and coordinating permissions with the Udaivilas management. Despite unexpected challenges, including unpredictable weather in Udaipur, last-minute permission changes, and even travel-related health concerns, their commitment to the vision never wavered, resulting in this beautiful outcome.
