Dubai based Natasha and Ronak hosted a destination wedding at Goa as they loved the vibe of the place. Natasha’s mom is Nigerian and she wanted to honour her mom’s traditions at the wedding. Ronak is Gujarati and so is Natasha’s father. With these mixed heritages, the couple had decided to have a Christian as well as a Gujarati wedding ceremony. On the day of the White wedding, since Natasha was doing her own make-up, she did not want her getting ready shots. With plenty of time on our hands, we had a lot of fun capturing the groom and groomsmen getting ready. The couple arrived for their church nuptials in a vintage car where they proceeded with the wedding mass, communion and exchanged vows. The youngsters celebrated the evening with a private pyjama party, the contents of which best remain untold.
The Hindu wedding ceremony the following day was held at the beach-side. The rituals were brief this time as it was the second time that the couple was getting married in a span of two days! The happy couple proceeded to the Cocktail Reception all the while dancing. This western style Reception was a warm and fuzzy celebration of Natasha and Ronak’s love and friendship. There were toasts and funny skits by their friends, the couple sang duets and danced together, Ronak entertained the guests with his guitar, sang love songs for Natasha and everyone participated in the fun, games and laughter. There was a lot of gaiety, laughter, joy and merriment and it was the perfect closing event.
