Gurpreet and Prince’s Navi Mumbai wedding was a beautiful amalgamation of their two cultures. Gurpreet is from Punjab and Prince hails from Mathura. The two met at university in the US and had been dating since many years. The covid-19 pandemic had been overshadowing their wedding plans for almost a year. When the first wave settled in India and US and travel bans were lifted, the couple quickly decided to make use of the window of opportunity and got hitched and luckily so! They got married in February and the pandemic made a comeback in India by April of 2021.

The couple arrived in Mumbai just a week prior to their wedding and the first thing they did was a pre-wedding photo shoot with us at Sets in the City. They were amazing throughout the shoot, despite the jet-lag! Their 3 day wedding was a beautiful mix of Sikh and UP traditions. The celebrations kicked off with the bridal mehndi followed by the Sangeet. The next day both families had planned for traditional rituals of their respective cultures which included the Haldi, Chooda and Jaggo ceremony. The wedding day saw the couple getting married in two styles – they had a beautiful Anand Karaj ceremony at the local Gurudwara followed by a Hindu Vedic wedding ceremony at the resort.
