Dubai-based couple, Bindita and Wanchoo, planned a remarkable two-day destination wedding at the enchanting Zuri White Sands Resort in Goa. Their love story exemplifies how destiny works in mysterious and beautiful ways.
Although they both attended the same university in England, they did so in different years and their paths never crossed! After graduation, Bindita embarked on her professional journey in London, while Wanchoo was working in Dubai. Their connection came about unexpectedly through the university’s careers team. Bindita was exploring opportunities in the field of recruitment in Dubai and she was asked to connect to Wanchoo, who was already working in the same field in Dubai. As fate would have it, Bindita was hired by the same company where Wanchoo was employed. She eventually relocated to Dubai and found herself working alongside Wanchoo. And so, their extraordinary story began.
After three wonderful years of dating, Wanchoo surprised Bindita with a trip to Goa, where he again surprised her with a heartfelt proposal. She accepted the proposal and their fate was finally sealed. Bindita, with her Bengali roots, and Wanchoo, a Kashmiri Pandit, desired a celebration that would seamlessly blend both sides of their families, allowing everyone to come together and revel in the festivities.
Their two-day wedding celebrations started with a fun Mehndi party, followed by an exhilarating Sangeet event, both of which provided guests with the perfect opportunity to let loose. The next day commenced with a spirited haldi and an exuberant phoolon-ki-holi, where both the couple and their cherished guests had a blast. The evening culminated in an unforgettable beachside pheras, a solemn affair infused with a beautiful combination of Bengali and Kashmiri rituals. This beautiful union showcases the magic of love, heritage, and the power of two families coming together in perfect harmony.
